Please be aware that USAHA and AAVLD have contracted a block of rooms in three hotels close to the convention center where the meeting takes place in an effort to minimize costs to both the groups and attendees. The group receives the government rate for government attendees. Please ask about it. If we do not fill this block of rooms, the group is financially responsible to the hotel for the number of room nights we are short. With this in mind, we ask that you remain mindful of your hotel reservations.
Group Rate: $ 155-169 depending on Hotel choice.
Anyone having a problem with making a room reservation because of dates or rate, including government rate, please make the reservation and contact Linda Ragland via email ([email protected]) or call 804.360.4379 to assist you with correcting the issue.

AAVLD and USAHA DO NOT USE A HOUSING BUREAU. If any members are contacted by a company claiming to be the official housing bureau for AAVLD and USAHA DO NOT volunteer any information. They may tell you the room block is sold out and quote a rate at another hotel, claiming that this is an official room block and that members must reserve through them to get discounted rates.
