Dear Colleagues, It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 19th Annual Meeting of the Canadian Animal Health Laboratorians Network (CAHLN) to be held in Calgary, Alberta at the University of Calgary, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine from June 1-June 3, 2020. The CAHLN was created in 2002 to facilitate information exchange on trends, techniques and research in the field of animal health diagnostics. The conference brings together individuals from a broad range of disciplines including pathology, bacteriology, immunology, virology and molecular biology. It is a forum for knowledge exchange between researchers and those working in diagnostic laboratories and provides an excellent opportunity for students to present their work. This year’s theme is “One Health Perspectives on Emerging Disease and Antimicrobial Resistance”. Under the One Health theme, the program will focus on emerging disease issues, the impacts of antimicrobial resistance, and disease trends affecting the various communities our laboratories serve (e.g. urban, agricultural, rural, indigenous, remote/northern communities). In addition to the scientific program, the meeting includes a welcome reception, networking sessions, industry exhibits and a special event at the Calgary Zoo. We invite you to register and submit an abstract for oral or poster presentations at the meeting. Please share this invitation with your colleagues. We look forward to seeing you in June! Sincerely, Jennifer Davies, DVM, MVSc, DACVP Contact: Conference & Event Management - [email protected] - 403-338-3008 |
