2012 Purchaser: Dr. Jessie Trujillo
Donated by: University of Minnesota Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory Description: Our founders, Harry and David, knew they shouldn't play favorites with the gourmet treats they sold. But they did.
They couldn't help it. Each of them had a snack drawer where they kept an ample supply of their favorite treats for
late night work sessions. They never let on which goodies they loved best. But we're ready to let you in on the secret.
And we've even added an organic Riesling from Pacific Rim and a Traditions Merlot from Millbrandt Vineyards.
And both pair perfectly with these goodies. The Riesling showcases ripe fruits with a zingy acidity, which makes
it an ideal choice for mild cheeses and juicy pears. The Merlot is smooth and round, brimming with flavors of
cherry and tobacco. It has a savory edge, which adds to the depth and open textured freshness.
